Managing Director/CEO

MR. POLYCARP DIDAM

Mr Polycarp is a chartered Insurer with over 30 years of cognate industry experience garnered mainly from insurance broking and underwriting. He has worked in key/leading companies and broking firms in the Insurance Industry including GTBank Group (Axa Mansard) where he worked for 10 years and left as AGM in charge of Northern operations, Abuja. He was responsible for developing the strategy to increase financial access to the financially excluded persons in the Northern states at affordable costs. He ensured that the financial products to the people and corporate organizations in that region were designed to their needs considering their income level, operating environment, and access to distribution channels. He later took up appointment as MD/CEO of Guinea Insurance Plc in 2013 where he repositioned the company from a loss position to a more profitable and sustainable position based on the medium to long term strategic plan instituted under his leadership. He left the company in 2016 after achieving the planned goals. His focus in 2016 was to return to further develop the Northern markets following CBN and EfInA reports to decrease the number of financially excluded from 46.3% to 20% by 2020. This time around, he joined FIN Insurance Limited (a member of Cornerstone Insurance Group) in 2016. As the MD/CEO, he was responsible for the penetration strategy to further increase uptake of insurance products using a broad range of financial products across the northern markets and all the touch points in the six geopolitical zones in country where the company was present. The company achieved over 60% growth in topline during his tenure. He left FIN Insurance Limited in August 2017 to join Veritas Kapital Assurance Plc as the MD/CEO where he was saddled with the responsibility of providing a sustainable growth in revenue and total assets, providing efficient operating model to manage costs, amongst other things. He left the company in 2019 to pursue other interest as a consultant with wide range of experience in leadership, effective management, strategic planning, power of execution, marketing amongst others. Mr Polycarp Didam Is a member of several bodies which includes Nigeria Institute of Management, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, and Member Institute of Directors. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos business School, University of Lagos, ATBU, Bauchi and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

DR. OLA AGBOOLA

Dr. Agboola Omoniyi Oladipupo is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Registered Insurance Broker, Certified CIBN Microfinance Banker, Chartered company Secretary, Compliance & Corporate Governance Professional, CIPM Subject Matter Expert-Pension and Compensation, Learning & Development Professional. He started his insurance career 27 years ago where he was trained in life insurance agency, underwriting and branch operations. Ola has since worked in various insurance institutions including three insurance companies and three registered insurance brokers.
Whilst in employment of Armstrong insurance brokers limited as the MD/CEO, Ola recapitalized the company ten times minimum regulatory capital, migrated the company from financial loss to profitability, established internal business processes, created reinsurance SBU, set up public sector marketing unit and left the company with significant operational success, financial stability, quality human capital and enviable brand. Whilst at Armstrong Insurance Broker Ltd, he served as member of loan and credit committee with Chase Microfinance Bank Ltd-a member of Swift Oil and Chorus Energy Group. He introduced a unique credit life insurance to cover death and disability for customers of the MicroFinance Bank. Prior to Armstrong Insurance Brokers Ltd, Ola was the chief operating officer of Golden Shield Insurance Brokers Ltd(a subsidiary of ASCON Oil Group of companies) where he led significant achievement in turnover, branch expansion and profitability.He was novel in the underwriting management of goods in transit insurance for carriage of the various petroleum products, among others. Ola was elected as the pioneer President of ASCON Oil multipurpose cooperative society of over 300 cooperators, having served as one of the members of the local organizing committee. He was a Subject Matter Expert(SME) on Compensation and Benefits with Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria; Trainer and lead faculty Member, NCRIB; Examiner with West Africa Insurance Institute (WAII)Gambia, Facilitator, Risk Management Class, Prestigious Lagos Business School(LBS);Former Examiner, College of Insurance (now College of Insurance and Financial Management);Former Examiner and Lecturer, Yaba College of Technology; External Consultant, FITC Consulting. He was awarded Best Male Participant at the 2016 International Reinsurance Seminar, Abuja jointly organized by Continental Re, Lagos and Ghana Re, Accra. He is the lead anchor of same Pan African Regional Reinsurance group hosting professionals across Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroun, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana and others. He has attended several courses, seminars and conferences both local and overseas in insurance Marketing, Business Development, Microinsurance, Energy (Oil and Gas) Insurance, Anti Money Laundering, Property and Engineering, Marine and Aviation Insurance. Ola joined Linkage Assurance PLC in 2019 as the National Branch Marketing Coordinator where he supervised thirteen (13) branch offices across the country and permanently turned around the fortunes of these branches with a phenomenal growth rate of over 200 percent increase in Gross Premium Written within the first year of employment. The years followed sustained growth and branch-wide transformation leading to satisfied customers, high quality people, increase in the number of qualified chartered insurance professionals, staff promotions, reengineered internal business process and technical profitability. Ola left significant sustainable structures, processes in the company’s retail business and branch operations. Ola is passionate at building leadership pipeline for organizational continuity. Ola was the guest speaker of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) for the 2023 induction of new fellows and associates.
Currently, Ola serves as a member of technical and editorial committees of CIIN. For his public service, community development, academic prowess and professional practice, Ola has received an array of awards and recognition. He was the second runner’s up winner of the African Insurance Organization (AIO) Book Award Competition of the 2023 Edition. A seasoned academic and consultant, Ola was educated at various times in Yaba College of Technology, University of Lagos, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Joseph Ayo Babalola University Osun State, Dr. Omoniyi Oladipupo Agboola holds one doctorate degree with specialization in Microinsurance for MSMEs, two master’s degrees and three undergraduate degrees. He is a transformational leader and has led three major highly successful business turn-around/corporate re-engineering in insurance industry. He is the author of the award winning textbook titled Microinsurance, Entrepreneurship and National Development. He was a contributing author on Modern Insurance Practice, a textbook for tertiary institutions published by Professional Insurance Ladies Association. He has published numerous academic articles published in high rated journal outlets. Dr. Agboola works as the Executive Director (Technical and Operations) at Royal Exchange Prudential Life Plc.

MR. OPEYEMI OYEWOLE

Mr. Opeyemi Oyewole, MBA, MSc.BSc, OND, ACIIN, ANCRIB, AICA, APFN.

Yemi Oyewole is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Registered Insurance Broker, Associate Member Institute of Credit Administration, Associate Member Pension Funds and Investment Techniques. He started his insurance career over 23 years ago where he was trained in life insurance operations, , cutting across different functional areas in the Life Technical Business, Compliance, Process Improvement, Product Development, Customer engagements, underwriting, Claim Management, agency and branch operations. Yemi has since worked in various insurance institutions including one registered insurance brokers, where he served as the MD/CEO Greenfort Insurance Brokers Limited, where he repositions the company for greater and future opportunity, established internal business and left the company with significant operational success, financial stability, quality human capital and enviable brand. While he was in Aiico Insurance PLC, he rose to the position of Senior Manager and he was in charge of the most productive, effective and efficient branch of the company in term of recruitment, policy courts and production and highest producers in all the aforementioned parameters including human capital management for good 5 years before he resigned and willingly move to another company within the same industry to face new challenges. Yemi is highly intentional with positive attitude to work, positive mindset, a desire and persion for growth and branch-wide transformation leading to satisfied customers, high quality people, staff promotions, reengineered internal business process and technical profitability. Yemi left a significant sustainable structures, processes in the company’s retail business and branch operations. ENGR. ADEBISI ADEYEMO, MNSE, COREN, CCNA, PMP

Engr. Adebisi is an experienced IT professional with over ten years of expertise in network administration, network security, project management, and web development. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University and certifications including CCNA and PMP. He is also a member of MNSE and COREN.

He has strong technical competence in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, Google Cloud, and Linode, and extensive experience with routers, firewalls, servers, and virtualization technologies. He has led and delivered multiple IT projects across telecommunications, fintech, and financial services.

He currently serves as the Head of IT at Royal Exchange Prudential Life Plc, overseeing technology operations and digital transformation.

ULISANMI BLESSING ARUEYINGHO

She is a graduate of Secretarial Administration (1992) from the Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State.  She holds MBA in Marketing (2008) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.  She is Associate of the prestigious Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

 

‘Sanmi started her work career as Management Graduate Trainee with Royal Exchange Plc then, Royal Exchange Assurance Nigeria (1993).  She has worked and moved through several departments and grade levels of the organization.

 

She has attended several seminars, workshops and conferences in leadership management, marketing, human resources etc.

 

She is currently Head, Human Resources/Administration, Royal Exchange Prudential Life Plc.
